p(e)d – world is driven by the commitment of community building, economic development, empowerment and wildlife protection. The organization believes in the philosophy of a participatory approach where programs and projects are designed and implemented by the villagers, Meru and Masai people. Together, we are implementing a constructive change.

The non-profit organisation p(e)d pursues...

1. a holistic and sustainable approach

• foreign aid and wildlife protection (developing the social system and the eco system)

2. the opportunity of active personal commitment and engagement in miscellaneous forms and with various opportunities of personal engagement and development

p(e)d initialises concrete tangible development projects with a  focus on ecologic and economic sustainability. Our goal is to connect people from Africa and Europe in defined projects in Africa into a development partnership.

In order to give the people a perspective in rural Africa and to make them independent from foreign help in a mid-term perspective, they need opportunities to earn income in their surroundings and to build and maintain the infrastructure they need. Therefore p(e)d initialises and supports education and income projects that lead to mid-term self-reliance for the Meru and the Masai in the region.
